Most greeting cards get opened, read once, and then disappear into a drawer, or worse, the bin.
Which is a bit grim, because some of them are actually nice.
A lot of the time, it’s not that people don’t like the card, it’s just that there’s nowhere for it to go after (or occasionally, they don’t care lol). It ends up in a pile, or gets cleared away when you’re “having a tidy”.
The idea with LK cards is that they don’t have to be a one-day thing. You can send them, obviously, but you can also keep them and use them as part of your space.
Stick them up with a bit of sellotape, frame them, or just lean them against something. They work really well on desks, shelves, or mixed in with prints if you already have stuff on the wall.
If you group a few together, they start to look like a proper setup rather than just a card you forgot to move.
They’re also handy if you want something small that still feels like a decent gift. Not everything has to be a big production, sometimes a really good card does the job.
So when you’re picking one, it’s not just about what it says. It’s also about whether it’s something you’d actually want to keep.
That’s usually a good sign.
You can also bundle a few together so you’re sorted for birthdays, last-minute plans, or anything you forgot about until the day before.
All LK cards are 350gsm, printed on recycled paper, and designed to actually look good wherever they end up (again, hopefully not the bin).
