Moving abroad is great until you randomly miss something incredibly specific. A particular street. A proper cup of tea. Somebody saying “grand” when things are very much not grand.

A print is probably the easiest place to start. It is simple to post, easy to frame, and gives them a little piece of home without taking over the whole gaff.
Pick something connected to where they are from, the places they miss, or the kind of Irish reference they still use every day. A Dublin print works especially well for somebody who has moved away and now insists on telling everyone exactly which part of Dublin they are from.

A Card With a Proper Message Inside
Sometimes a really good card is enough. Especially when the message inside is not just “hope you are well” followed by three kisses.
Tell them what is going on at home. Add the bits you would normally say over a pint. Remind them when they are coming back, because apparently somebody has to.

Add a Lil Bit of Stationery
If you are putting together a care package, add a notepad, planner, or a few stickers. Something useful, something funky, and something that will make their desk look less depressing.
You do not need loads. A card, one strong print, and one useful piece of stationery is more than enough to make it feel like a proper gift.
