Last updated: 13 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply when you visit loonkaboon.com or buy from Loon Kaboon. By placing an order, you agree to these terms. Nothing here limits the rights you have under Irish consumer law.

About Loon Kaboon

Loon Kaboon is an independent Irish design business based in Dublin, Ireland. The shop sells illustrated prints, greeting cards, stationery, stickers and other giftable bits. For questions about these terms or an order, email hello@loonkaboon.com.

Using this website

You may use this website for lawful personal shopping and browsing. You must not misuse the website, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or copy and exploit its content for commercial purposes without permission.

Product information, prices and availability may be corrected or updated where necessary. Reasonable care is taken to keep the website accurate, but minor errors or temporary interruptions may occur.

Products and handmade variation

Every effort is made to describe and photograph products accurately. Screen settings can affect colour, and small variations may occur between print runs or handmade and small-batch items. These normal variations are not faults.

Product dimensions, materials, finishes and framing details are shown on the relevant product page. Prints are supplied unframed unless the product description clearly says otherwise.

Orders

When you place an order, you are offering to buy the items in your basket. An automated confirmation email acknowledges that the order was received. A contract is formed when Loon Kaboon accepts and begins processing the order. If an item is unavailable, incorrectly priced, or cannot be supplied, you will be contacted and any payment for that item will be refunded.

Please check your order details and delivery address carefully before submitting. If you need a change, email as soon as possible. Changes or cancellations cannot be guaranteed once an order has been packed or dispatched.

Loon Kaboon may refuse or cancel an order where fraud or misuse is reasonably suspected, payment is not authorised, an obvious pricing error has occurred, or fulfilment is not possible.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euro (€). The total price, including delivery charges and any applicable taxes, is shown before you complete checkout. Payment must be authorised through one of the methods offered at checkout. Loon Kaboon does not directly store full card details.

Promotional codes and bundle offers are subject to their stated dates and conditions, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may not be combined unless the offer says otherwise.

Delivery

Orders are packed and posted from Dublin. Current delivery areas, prices and estimates are shown at checkout and in the FAQs. Delivery estimates begin after dispatch and are not guaranteed dates. Busy periods, weather, postal disruption and other events outside reasonable control can cause delays.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was incomplete or incorrect, additional postage may be required to resend it.

If an order is delayed beyond the expected window or does not arrive, email hello@loonkaboon.com with the order number and delivery address. Your statutory rights regarding late or failed delivery remain unaffected.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

For most online purchases, consumers have a 14-day cooling-off period beginning when the goods are received. You must tell Loon Kaboon within that period if you wish to cancel, then return the goods within the following 14 days. Full instructions, exceptions and refund details are set out in the Refund & Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Unless an item is faulty, damaged or incorrect, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning it. You may handle an item only as much as is reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning; a refund may be reduced to reflect diminished value caused by handling beyond that.

Personalised or custom-made goods and other legally exempt items cannot usually be returned for change of mind. This does not affect your rights if an item is faulty, damaged or not as described.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Goods must match their description, be fit for purpose and be of satisfactory quality. If something arrives faulty, damaged or incorrect, contact hello@loonkaboon.com as soon as possible with your order number, a description and clear photos of the item and packaging. The appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund will be arranged in line with Irish consumer law.

Intellectual property

All illustrations, designs, photographs, text, branding and other original content on this website belong to Loon Kaboon or are used with permission. Buying a product does not transfer copyright or grant permission to reproduce, adapt, resell, distribute or use the artwork commercially. Please ask in writing before using any site content or artwork beyond ordinary personal use.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, or restricts your statutory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, Loon Kaboon is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, business losses arising from a consumer purchase, or failures caused by events outside reasonable control.

Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy. Information needed to process an order may be shared with payment, delivery and website service providers only as required to provide the service or comply with law.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated when the shop, services or applicable law changes. The terms displayed when you place an order apply to that order. The latest revision date appears at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the European Union, you also retain any mandatory protections provided by the law of your country of residence. The Irish courts have jurisdiction, without limiting any right you may have to bring a claim in another court under applicable consumer law.
